Ho hum. Directions hearing in the Chancery Division that started late and went on later... won some bits, lost one bit, one bit adjourned, rest agreed.
It's very noticeable that the "new" (1960s?) bit of the RCJ is deteriorating rapidly and looks shabby and dated while the grand Victorian Gothic edifice that forms the main block looks better, is in much better condition, and is far more suited to its purpose. No surprises there then. I'm a huge fan of the main building anyway, I think it's one of the three greatest Victorian Gothic buildings in the country, the others being the Great Midland Hotel (St Pancras) and the Houses of Parliament.
Heigh ho. Onto the next thing, which is apparently urgent. Might have helped had they said that when they instructed me.
I'm still unable to find anything interesting to read. This is disturbing. And also dangerous, as it is likely to lead to an expensive time in Foyles in the near future, and that will inevitably end up being a random quest costing me a lot. In the meantime, I'm bored, and suffering an attack of the loneliness/single blues again, so I'll shut up rather than bore you further. Instead I shall go drink with the redoubtable Clanwilliam.

Since you started the last two posts with Ho Hum I thought I'd do a little investigation, I have detected a total of four uses in the last twenty posts (not counting answers to comments) plus five uses in the twenty before that. Merriam Webster describes a ho-hum existence as drab and a ho-hum reaction as bored or indifferent. Perhaps you should move on to Wa-Hey?

Oh it says they are startlingly original and often highly underrated - 'what a guy' it goes on to enthuse in awed tones. Ho Hum.

I have been a fool, Oxford English dictionary lists a ho hum existence as a shower of glittering diamonds and a ho hum reaction as one that is too clever for one to understand.
