Oct. 8th, 2003 02:13 pmThe First Stinking Cold of the Season is looming ominously, shadowy yet undeniably, inevitably, on its way. I can feel it tingling in the back of my nose and throat, in the way my eyes aren't quite focusing, in the slight ache in my muscles. I would add the general feeling of lethargy and unenthusiasm, but that may just be normality asserting itself.
Fortunately, my hearing for this afternoon went away, and is being dealt with by consent instead. Which is undeniably a Good Thing and in accordance with my very strong advice anyway.
Dinner in a Greek restaurant (inevitably) with a few friends (a very few actually, but that was by design, for the most part) last night. 'Twas good.
