I love a good thunderstorm me. Huge crashing peals of thunder and the whole sky lit up, fabulous.

It's coming down stairrods too*. I did consider dashing back from the library to chambers, but decided against it. As I did against the third way: taking all my clothes off and cavorting naked on the lawn. I don't think the Masters of the Bench would like it.

*[ETA: The raingod evidently took that as a challenge and decided to show me what they could really do. Anyone know a courier firm for umbrellas?]

Hardcore innit. I'm currently waiting for all the badly planned speed humps and traffic calming chicanes round here to cause loads of water to settle in truncated gutters that would otherwise flow freely. It'll be like Waterworld, only on a much, much lower budget.

The concept of a *higher* budget than Waterworld is a bit difficult. One of those things where you need the SI Unit of "size of the economy of Guatemala".

You're a well known naked cavorter, although I have never seen you do it in the rain. I *love* the rain. But I like being all wrapped up against it and knowing that there's a hot bath and a drink at the end.

Hmm. Shouldn't have looked at that. Am now tempted to look tnto the possibility of flights in mid-Sept, when the weather should still be ok and all the Olympicians should have gone home.

Jesusmaryandjoseph. That's painful, it is. Although, I'll admit, I kinda miss the feet.

We call it Advil. And I haven't any, much to my very great displeasure.
