I really ought to feel rather more unwell than I do.

All in the aid of Katy and Fi's birthdays we descended first on the Cork and Bottle, where we had several bottles. I presume they had corks. "We" being them, obviously, me, Alan, Rob, Steph, Adele, Joff, and Harry. I'd already been drinking since just before 6, as I dropped in on a history alumni thing at UCL... After that we staggered on to the Prince Charles, notorious for allowing you to take your drinks in... und ve diiid..

I'd forgotten just how many accepted audience participation lines there were in the Rocky Horror Picture Show these days....

From there to Greek St, ending up, for the first time in I don't care to think how long, in a crowded and noisy Soho Bar at gone 1.30, drinking Margheritas. I seem to remember Joff ordering a round of ten of them, the cost of which I shudder to consider.

I really ought to feel more unwell than I do...

I don't know the answer though. Didn't have a real hangover all weekend. Bizarre. Sat I can understand, because I wasn't mixing drinks, but the Friday I went through an appalling array of grain and grape variants, which usually has disastrous results. Maybe Margheritas are, in and of themselves, the answer.

good god - let's hope not. tequila makes me a crazywoman, it does.

actually, for all my big talk, i had a hangover-less weekend myself. 'course, I only drank much on friday, but I drank Quite a Bit ... but I also forgot to go to sleep, which was really the source of my pain the next day.

I feel this represents a wasted opportunity, as I am off work today for a holiday and therefore had an entire other day to get sillydrunk.
