Have just been to lecture on "Lord Denning's contribution to lwiterature and the law", also known as "cheap and more entertaining way than most to acquire CPD points". Wine flowed freely and am consequently slightly pissed. This must be the first time I have posted to livejournal whilst uder the influence, come to think of it. Am having internet put in at home soon, so those who remember with fondness my posts on the Culture re: Canary Wharf and the mysterious green lights while quite monumentally pissed can look forward to the same here... what joy.

Darn, why did no-one inform me of this event? (Actually I probably wouldn't have been able to go anyway, unless it finished quite early, but watching people trying to make sense of Denning decisions is just so much fun.)
