Oct. 28th, 2003 04:49 pmI'm in a weirdly empty mood at present, and have decided not to post inane gibberings unless I can discern in them some vague smidgen of a point. I did start to compose a list of things that make me cross, which included: all political parties currently active in this country; the Northern Line; conspiracy theories about the death of Princess Diana; people who care about same; the daft idea that we need to lie to ourselves for six months of the year about what time of day it is; forgetting that we've just stopped lying to ourselves about same; badly drafted legislation; the Office for National Statistics; and Bad Coffee but I decided against continuing before I became just too depressed for words.
In other news, I decided to mend a friendship that got broken some months ago, just in time. That should please some of you.

Date: 2003-10-28 09:19 am (UTC)Do I want to be responsible for war breaking out between government departments? The streets of Cardiff running red with blood...
..."in other news, a new front opened in the InterDepartment War when the DVLA took control of large parts of Cardiff. Later, the Inland Revenue announced it was considering declaring martial law..."

In the meanwhile, have a hug..
