Sep. 19th, 2003 01:06 pmApparently the three different groups of workmen currently working on our Chambers are on the verge of coming to blows...
In any event, the lot doing the cabling for the network (a mere two weeks overdue so far) are now drilling a hole in the wall of my office with the most ridulously long drillbit I have ever seen in my life. So I'm off home to Primrose Hill to "work" (actually, I do have loads to do) for the afternoon, and then Home to see parents in Hampshire for the weekend. Hoping to see sister too: she and husband and 9 month old (think it's 9 months but my grasp of these minor details is notoriously bad) had a bad crash the other week, ended up upside down on the central reservation of the M27 and were lucky to escape with only minor injuries, indeed with their lives.
Happy birthday Rik. And I hope all of youse on the eastern seaboard of the US are ok. Laters.
