Well, I'm fucking furious. The way I see it, someone who is supposedly one of my closest friends has just ripped me off to the tune of 200 quid.
Unsurprisingly, she is no longer a friend at all.

It depends on whose problem you think it is to cover the share or find a replacement, when one person drops out of a holiday with less than a month to go, with the full amount paid by me several weeks before but the person dropping out not having paid their full share yet.
The fact that the person in question knows full well I simply don't have the cashflow to take this at present is merely the icing on the cake, from my point of view.
