Hugs and sympathies. Can you take off early, have a drink or two and relax with a good book? If you stop after two drinks and have an early night, you might deal with the taxes better tomorrow..
No, because I'm in court tomorrow morning (so can't drink anyway, according to my fairly strict rule) plus this job has to be in before the weekend. So I think leaving early isn't going to be happening tonight, since I need to understand some of the darker byways of the Capital Gains Tax provisions before I go home.
Hmm. Well good luck seems more appropriate then. I assume any offers to have a couple of drinks and retire early, on your behalf and strictly to express solidarity with you, would have doubtful comfort value?
