But I Hate Kit-Kats
Apr. 28th, 2003 04:36 pmI should be preparing for tomorrow's case, but I've been through it all so many times that I need a break.
Haven't anything dramatic or any Great Thoughts to report though. Did indeed get to watch 24 last night, mad episode if you ask me. But I wasn't too surprised at either of the hour's twists. And then This Life was on again after. I'm a bit surprised they're showing it again when they last re-screened it only a year or so ago, but it's still great. Of course, now I'm actually on the inside of the barrister's world it all looks slightly different. But I'm already waiting, even though I know exactly how it goes, for that brilliant last scene and the greatest punch in TV history.
Managed to get all but one of my possession actions this morning, and I suspected there would be a problem with that one. Lord, Romford is one of the most depressing places in the country on a good day, on a wet Monday morning it's a whole new level for Dante to explore.
Just finished reading The Dark Labyrinth, a Lawrence Durrell book I had never heard of until I saw it in a pound tray on CharingXRd. Extremely strange psychological novel about a group of travellers post-war exploring a labyrinth on Crete and coming to terms with various things when the roof comes crashing down and they get trapped. At least, I think that's what it was about. It wasn't entirely clear, frankly: The Alexandria Quartet it ain't.
