Now this is curious, because I have been drinking a la fish for the last two weeks and haven't suffered at all. It's just been a remarkably heavy cold keeping me in bed until 10 every morning, oh yes. But I return to London and drink just two glasses of madeira and one of whiskey (Bushmills 10yr old this time) and I wake up feeling as though a pig had shat in my head. Yes, they were large lasses, but I still blame London pollution.
Madeira. Oh yes. Better, in my book, than either port or sherry and bloody cheap because it isn't very fashionable. Try it, seriously.
My thoughts on Jackson's LotR are still delayed, and probably will be until I'm really very bored one day, in the meantime though this, courtesy of Katy deserves as wide an audience as possible.
