Schedule From Hell

Leave St Helier Office circa 5.45PM.

Walk to bus station, take taxi to airport arriving circa. 6.15

Wait

Plane departs 8.05.

Plane lands 8.50

After sundry calamities with the baggage carousel involving small children hitting the stop button, baggage arises. Take time to curse having to check in baggage solely because contained banned objects.

Arrive Gatwick train station 9.30, catch Gatwick Express

Victoria 10.05

Train to office via Vicky and Central Lines. Thankfully recognise security men on gate as they have borrowed cigarettes from me and are thus not disposed to make getting in difficult.

In office, re-pack, having had to empty pre-packed rucksack a week ago due to baggage emergency.

Cab to Victoria around midnight.

12.30 Express back to Gatwick, arriving 1.05AM.

Three hours to kill in deserted Gatwick...

I guess that was the period assigned to packing and re-packing due to emergency luggage issue? Having said that - I think all that is need for a trip to Greece is shorts, t-shirts and books?

Nah. 12 hr clock. I worked Thurs daytime. Was v tired when I wrote all that.
