Well, yes, now you come to mention it, I remember it was a bit damp one day.
Not to worry. Had a fabulous time in general, and yesterday I sunburnt my sunburn. Go figure.
I don't think my sandals will ever be quite the same again though.
ETA: Uon has a photo of their campsite. Ours was similar, but not quite as bad.. I have what appear to be good ones of the great lakes with people swimming etc but they were taken on the phone and those photos I have so far taken off that have proved to be rubbish.

Date: 2005-06-27 04:34 pm (UTC)My stuff is fine actually: better than it usually is after Glastonbury. I wore shorts and sandals all weekend, and thus avoided sacrificing yet another pair of jeans to the God of Mud, which is what usually happens. This was because of my brilliant theory, which is mine and is fabulous* that wearing sandals would mean I just got dirty feet, instead of walking around with boots full of water mud and sodden socks, and wet jeans, all day.
I'm sure my sleeping bag will wash clean.
Theories may suffer from weakness** if composed while short on sleep and long on drink etc, Your statutory rights are revoked.
** It actually was a good theory Friday. As the mud stiffened up Saturday it became less so, but I couldn't be arsed to go back to the tent.

Date: 2005-06-27 06:49 pm (UTC)I'll do a more detailed post with highlights when I've had some sleep. Garbage and Brian Wilson spring to mind. Also the Beautiful South. And a complete, word-perfect rendition of Bohemian Rhapsody by a largish crowd (including yours truly) outside a wine bar at 3AM last night.
