.... Moving Swiftly On...

I'm not entirely sure what happened to 2006. I suppose spending the first third of it on Jersey didn't help. Not a particularly easy year but not a particularly interesting one either, looking back I have the feeling I didn't really accomplish a great deal. A certain irony to that in that part of the point of going away was to try and dig myself out of a rut.

2007 already has a fair few worries looming: there's some serious problems and a generally difficult time looming at work, my finances are as ever shot to pieces, and my closest friend is leaving the country tomorrow. Still, onwards and upwards and all that. Some fun cases lined up, at least some of which should go to fairly lengthy trials, and it is, I am determined, going to be the year I manage to finish some saleable novel-length writing. Beyond that, who knows?

In the meantime, a happy and successful new year to everyone out there.
