And then you come to:

which I'm afraid just cracks me up. I suspect this secondary use was unintended, and not particularly welcomed by its owner. I have a vision of a German cave-dweller unable to find, or not bothered to go looking for, their Black and Decker Patented Flint Knapper and just picking up the first thing that came to hand...
