I'm not wildly up on the most recent goings on between Israel, Lebanon, Syria and the Hizbollah either so I shall forbear to comment for the moment,.

Have been reading up a bit on it and it still seems excessive to me. No, I am not trying to pump a comment out of you. Just wanted to vent a bit of my annoyance with this form of collective punishment.

Good going, but as you say, possibly a bit fruitless in the medium run. Airport is south of Beiruit proper no?

Yes, just a bit south. Though I don't suppose it makes so much difference for air raids.

They've always liked to fly over the coast line and invade air space every now and again in order to annoy people anyway, even if they don't do anything else while they're there/here.
