No you're me. Well minus the cigs, but buying CDs as well as the books and putting in a sterling performance as a screaming haridan vowing never to move again. Ever. I managed to post to usenet and mailists (pre web=nolivejournal!=online displacement free life sadly) to this effect so I must have left the phone connected until the last minute. A mistake I feel...

Well I'm not moving unless I can move out of the premises for the duration and pay People to do it all for me, send the kids off to Grandma for a few days and spend the following week somewhere hot and sunny to recover. That way we might all survive the experience :)

Oh bits and pieces I had meant to get around too. _Iron Council_, new copy of _Rough Guide to Greece_, Lindsey Clarke, _The War at Troy_, _Flashman_. Basically stuff I want to read in Greece (I'm packing for that as well as everthing else at the moment)

Several I suspect. But the Man With The Van is now booked, for tomorrow evening, so the bulk has to be ready for him.
(The vast mjority of my boxes are going to be left in London. Plus my rucksack for Greece)

was it horribly expensive - they wanted £1500 to do belgium-uk. I managed to get away with chucking 4 boxes at a friend who was doing the trip, and strugled back with the rest on eurostar.
Thank heaven for helpful tube-dwellers who carried bags between trains/up stairs etc.
