Someone very well intentioned makes a community called London Hurts...

And then someone lets Londoners loose on it.

(ETA: all seems to have gone a bit pear-shaped over there since I wrote this, but never mind. A few people seem to lack the ability to spot The Line.)

London doesn't hurt. London hasd just staggered back from the pub.

Well I have anyway.

Tomorrow, that's when I'll hurt. And I bet there's no neurofen in the flat.

*lol*

Oh, that one's good. The last one has a comment from a Merkin who completely missed the point:

Salute your flag and hug a stranger now;
Tomorrow bomb the shit out of a fucking Iraqi scumbucket

Hope you are feeling reasonably okay in the morning. :)

Interesting community! *snorts*
(I liked the Hugely Phallic icon - very appropriate!)

Hope you don't feel too horribly today.

Great link =)

I'd love to have a little "Hair of the dog" (I think that's what it's called) with you today if REM wasn't cancelled =/

I have to say I was looking forward to it even more after Thursday beacuse "Terrists" can kiss my fat American arse.

Brilliant stuff. I'm sure there's a phd in what that says about the different ways Brits and Americans respond to tragedy.

Another classic:

I've just shown this community to my father who was a Londoner (evacuated) during the war years. In the spirit of the responses here he'd like to point out.

"You youngsters don't know how lucky you are we had to cope with tea rationing!!!"

HAHAHAHA. Was reading comments from Londoners on the internet. Someone posted a very sentimental "well done lads, London showed it's stuff...etc.etc." The first response to the well-intentioned (and no, both posters were NOT American) was "Please stop this nauseating shite". I couldn't stop laughing after that comment.

Cranky
