ETA: Fuck, breaking news is confirming the bus thing as well. How could that be a power surge?

It's certainly all go around here (Commercial St); police cars have been howling around for much of the last hour and a half and ever-more-hysterical reports are coming through second- and third-hand sources.

Perhaps it's time to break out the tea urns and calm everyone down.

I'm just praying that it isn't an actual terror attack; as Labour *will* then use it to renew the assault on civil liberties.

No new incidents I know of but still chaos. "Sources" now saying yes Al Qaeda, if that means anything. Some casualties now confirmed but all v. unclear.
