This is one of the reasons I never had the slightest desire to do NHS/Family/Right to life/death cases.

Mind you, I thought questions like these had been resolved by Bland, Bolam and wossname, the Baby B case, which as far as I can see was almost identical, and where the hospital won its case.

Grim stuff indeed. I thought you were right though about the precedent. I suppose in something like they want to cover their back fully. Understandably I suppose.
