Oh arsing hell: another Fathers for Justice demonstration. That means a lot of noise and a security lockdown just when I have a million and one bits of work to be finished by close of play.

I was hoping I could still make it, but I do have a lot on... and the demo might make the Strand difficult anyway if they go that way... is up to you though.

I was just reading the BBC's report on this demonstration (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/london/3818039.stm) and I was pulled up short by the line: "Most of the protesters were dressed in purple - the international colour of equality." Hmmm... (http://www.google.co.uk/search?q=%22international+colour+of+equality%22&ie=UTF-8&hl=en&meta=)

That report's very odd for two reasons. One it says they've gone to Downing St, whereas I have just five minutes ago, seen them outside the RCJ, secondly it says they went past the Family Division (which is on Holborn) when I saw them heading from Lincoln's Inn Fields in precisely the opposite direction.
