That T.S. Eliot chap, he know nuffink. "April is the cruelest month". What a load of rubbish.

Still, I suppose "February is the cruellest month" doesn't scan quite as well.

As some of you know, my mood is affected by the weather to a quite ludicrous degree. Today, which started off pissing with rain, went through a springlike patch in mid-afternoon, and is now nondescript, has therefore confused me no end.

I'm still not feeling too hot, but I'm not ill enough to justify taking a day off to myself. One of the worst things about being self-employed: pulling a sickie just doesn't have that thrill of wicked self-indulgence. At least some people paid me some rather overdue bills this morning. Which was nice.

There you are then. I was writing a Blunkett rant, but I've been entirely too serious here recently, plus it isn't good for my heart, y'know. Anyway, it isn't as though I had anything to say that would come as a surprise to any of you, it was merely an exercise in seeing just how cross I could make myself.

lol

no, not because of your mood, but because you're the second person to say this about February today. I thought it odd - but in a good way.

And, I hope you get well soon. Though, your mood might be related to you not feeling well. A friend once toldme that, when one is ill, then one's mood tends to be lousy, because the body is basically focusing on combatting the disease, and so has no time to maintain happiness (or a reasonable fascimile).
