liadnanHo hum. Feeling shattered though I did little over the weekend and today's hearing was inconclusive. I have to go up to Liverpool for a two day trial tomorrow evening (just in time for the cold snap they keep telling us about)...
Friday I had two cases, on opposite sides of London, one at 10.30 in a list notorious for over-running, and one at 2. So by the time I arrived at Rob's birthday drinks I was more than a teeny bit frazzled. Good dinner though, but perhaps a bit too pricy considering I have to write two large cheques for different bands of Gordon's Merry Men this week. Hmmm. Partly as a result of this I did bugger all all weekend.
Thos of you in the UK, good new(ish) TV: Shameless, a drama-with-humour; and Grass, a sitcom largely peopled by ex-Fast Show types, though not particularly in that vein, and dignified by the complete absence of a laugh-track.
Apologies for not commenting much of late, and not keeping up with reviews etc (if anyone's particularly bothered by that: mainly I'm just too busy and/or tired whenever I have internet access at the moment.
Incidentally, the fact that it is now pretty much properly light at 4.30PM is cheering me up no end.
