Sep. 25th, 2003 10:22 amJust a brief note as I have to be in the Court of Appeal later... I just wanted to put this down before I forget it...
Was watching Grand Designs last night, an underground house this time. All quite interesting, but what made me laugh out loud was wossname's turn to camera to say "building a house under ground is a lot like.." [pause]. And I swear he was thinking "making love to a beautiful woman", before coming out with the more prosaic and rather obvious "building a swiming pool".
Ninety percent of you won't get that, but it amused me.
In the same vein of rather random observations, I forgot to note that yesterday was the anniversary of the publication of the notorious September Dossier, and the start of the long road leading to the Hutton Inquiry, which finishes today (which means I am going to have to fight my way through crowds to get to the CA, bugger). Andrew Marr was quoting bits of it on Today yesterday, and I am absolutely certain that when he was reading bits from Blair's introduction he was doing an impression, somewhat in the John Culshaw style.
Must go work. Replies to comments and emails unavoidably delayed due to work on the line.
