When I saw the BBC headline "Giant rodent astounds science" out of context in my RSS reader, my first thought was that a large rat had invented quantum anti-gravity or something. Oh well...
At least they ate sea grass. I'd be more terrified of the giant crocodiles and the carnivorous birds wot were so big they could fly off with me, tho' I'd merely be a snack!
Well, I was thinking of music and theatre type things around London. Though I must admit opera in't really my bag and even when it is I'm more Covent Garden than Coliseum. But there are only 1000 real people in London anyway, all the rest are cardboard cutouts and actors, so they run into one another all the time.
That's very true. It does seem like London is very full of people, but very few of them are at all interesting! I only used to go to the Coli because it was work, but I am a bit of an opera fan. I used to work at Glyndebourne as well. Have you been to The Globe?
