Sep. 12th, 2003 01:32 pmI am having a day of burning through work scarily fast. It's pleasant, but I think I shall wait until Monday to send anything out in case I've cocked something up.
In other news, nothing. Glorious autumnal weather.
Anyone who's interested, which pretty much means Fionna, the second Lynn Flewelling is out, straight to ordinary format paperback, hurrah. I do wish publishers would stop bringing out books I'm waiting for while I'm on a month's moratorium: have they no consideration?
I highly recommend that series, incidentally.
Robert Jordan, instead of getting on with finishing book N+1 in the interminable Wheel of Time is instead to bring out three prequels. What a git, frankly.
I managed to escape from an hour on CXR last night with said moratorium unbroken, but quite a lot of other things added to the list in my head. Including The Peace to End All Peace, a fat, well-reviewed and remarkably cheap history of how we cocked up sorting out the collapse of the Ottoman Empire and caused half the troubles in the world today in the process...
