liadnanSoo... last night I finish checking my email, ranting, writing my last entry here and all the rest... and pack up. Go to door of room.
Door handle fails to do anything.
Ah.
Everyone else has gone home.
Slide knife down side of door to try and push back catch. Too strong.
Ring security, who tells me it will be half an hour before they can get round.
Think bugger that for a game of soldiers, am in basement room, and climb out of window, run round, open door, which works from the other side (remembering just in time to prop it open), lock window again.
Leave, sticking big notice for future reference on door, and bump into quite patently stoned out of tree security guard on way out.
In other news, the 1 key seems to have vanished off my keyboard at some point. In a cap not there kind of way, rather than a magical re-arrangement kind of way. The shift key is also clicking oddly, which I suspect may not be unconnected, though I don't see how the 1 can fit under it.
Right, I have a wedding in Reading to attend, I only came in because I forgot to take my suit home in all the excitement.
