Gorgeous afternoon, and I've cleared my desk. Lost this morning's interim hearing, but I'd already warned the client that was a racing certainty, and we managed a fine Dunkirk retreat, so that's ok. I actually was strongly considering, given the next thing on my desk was for Tuesday and I've already done most of the prep., taking the rest of the day off. But soddit, now there's something in the diary for Monday, and the papers haven't arrived, so I at least have to wait around for that. Shame, really.
Not sure what I', doing this weekend. 'Tis a glorious expanse of possibilities. Or an aching void, depending on your point of view. Drinking may or may not happen tonight. I'll keep you posted, I know you're all on the edges of your collective seats. Can one have collective seats. Perhaps not, it's a disturbing image.
I'm feeling slightly aimless. Can you tell?
