May. 22nd, 2006 11:54 amAvignon gorgeous, hot, sunny and lazy, none of which are currently true of London. Nor is London drink-sodden, which was true of Oxford yesterday. Thankfully, the possibility mooted in the email I received on Friday evening that I might have to be in Zurich tomorrow at 9AM has been narrowly avoided thanks to my raising the unasked question "why?"
