Well, the people putting the actual cabling in have left my office and I'm back in. However, the new cables don't actually connect to anything and instead spew from the wall in coils. In the meantime, I'm trying to work up a case in the Court of Appeal (the lawyers among you may be relieved to know that I'm not appearing there in my first six months of tenancy, it's just a noting brief in a very large case on which I'm being led) while sitting on the floor as the desk is full of the files and books we had to remove... Hurrah. Unsurprisingly, I'm shortly off home to enjoy a glorious autumn day there.
