Yes. They're about 200 feet under ground and surrounded with concrete, but they're definitely secure.

But I'm a chancery commercial litigation orientated barrister so I think the chances of them buying the idea I'm a "qualified commercial/ corporate /projects lawyer" are pretty remote.

Oh come on, read the spec again - if you've got law "O" Level, I reckon you're in.

I think I know about 150 people who ARE perfectly qualified for the position, though. And some of them I'd actively encourage. ;)

Undoubtedly. That's because they figure that on the balance of probabilities, they'll only have to fork out the salary for 6 months (plus the inevitable medical contributions). Then they go through the process again.

I presume they mean "qualified" in the loose sense, analagous to "experienced". The full advert actually specifies 1-7 years PQE (post-qualification experience) otherwise I'd suspect they might mean "so long as you've done the exams we might take you"
