Probably both but to be honest I don't know. Someone was wearing a more solid hockey-mask type affair this morning I noticed.
I do find my throat gets quite raw when I'm cycling. Particularly on the busy stretch of road. But it's difficult to tell because I have a mixture of unshakeoffable summer cold and mild hay fever at the moment (London is having a patch of glorious summer right now incidentally)
