Is not the Palace any more. Finally got too dodge to carry on under the old management last year: this was its first night under the rather suspicious name of Koko, or something of the sort. Was a gig, band called the Duke Spirit, NME Awards show. Good night actually, and the place is certainly a lot more plush than it was, stuck around till 1ish and then wancdered home up the High St and along the canal. Hurrah. Regaining my youth or something. Problem is that Friday nights I'm always knackered when I start. Whereas now, being Sat, I'm sitting at home bored with nothing to do. Story of my life.
