Weather in Istanbul changed this morning, fat lot of use that it was. Heigh ho, did most of the things I planned to do and had a generally fab time despite a dose of feeling like death yesterday though. Pictures and the like will probably have to wait until I return from Sorrento, whence I go on some ungodly hour on Saturday. In the meantime, my clerks had better have done some effective fee-chasing (in August? fat chance) as somehow three rather good carpets (though one is a commission from Steph) and a leather jacket appear to have sneaked into my luggage. I could have chosen cheaper hobbies than collecting good oriental carpets.
